At ovelyn.beauty, I work to the best of my knowledge and with the highest hygiene standards. Please take note of the following important information:

1. Health Information

For a safe waxing treatment, it is essential that you provide me with all relevant health information completely and truthfully before your appointment.

The health questionnaire will be handed to you in person at the studio on paper and must be completed before the treatment begins. It is there for your own safety and forms part of my duty of care. Please take the time to fill it in carefully and in full.

2. Personal Responsibility

You undergo the treatment at your own responsibility. By consenting to the treatment, you confirm that:

you have been informed about possible skin reactions
you understand possible risks (redness, mild irritation, etc.)
you are aware that certain medications or skin conditions may be contraindicated
you have informed me of all relevant individual factors

3. Scope of Liability

ovelyn.beauty accepts no liability for:

irritations or reactions caused by incomplete or inaccurate information provided in the health questionnaire
allergic reactions to wax or skincare products where the relevant information was not disclosed
ingrown hairs or skin irritations that may occur despite correct application
reactions caused by failure to follow aftercare instructions
damage occurring after leaving the studio due to improper self-treatment
treatments carried out despite existing contraindications that were not disclosed

Liability is otherwise governed by statutory provisions. No limitation of liability applies to damages arising from injury to life, body or health, or to any other damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty.

4. Contraindications

I reserve the right to refuse, postpone or discontinue a treatment if:

acute skin conditions, injuries or infections are present
the health questionnaire has not been completed in full
risk factors exist that prevent a safe treatment
it becomes apparent during the treatment that continuing would not be responsible

5. Aftercare

After every waxing treatment, you will receive clear aftercare instructions. Following these is your own responsibility. Any consequences resulting from insufficient or incorrect aftercare (e.g. ingrown hairs, irritation, inflammation) fall outside my area of liability.
